It’s bright as hell, plus the dim setting (which occasionally takes a few clicks to activate) is reasonable. The frightening edge on the front face with the flashlight could surely break glass and carve chunks out of bone if applied correctly, and also the shape lends well to holding in a fist and striking. Actually, the sharp edges make the light a little uncomfortable to carry. In my pocket or on my belt, I kept finding my hand knocking into the sharp top in the device. But you may use a holster for this light, or not carry it clipped to your side, or just not mind brushing up against the thing.
Regardless, I got it, I enjoy it, my friends are jealous, and I review this product highly.
