E1B Backup®

This ultra compact dual-output flashlight was designed as a backup light for patrol officers or a primary light for plain-clothes officers, but it’s also ideal for outdoor, personal defense, and everyday use. The Backup’s tailcap switch activates the flashlight at either output level. Press or click for a 110-lumen high beam—more than enough light to temporarily disorient an aggressor. Release or click off, then press or click on again within two seconds for a 5-lumen long-runtime low beam that’s ideal for reading a map or navigating a trail without degrading your night-adapted vision. The smooth, hard-anodized aluminum body takes it is easy on clothing and the two-way clip lets you carry the light head-up or head-down.

The SureFire™ Pen

Machined from high-strength aluminum and given an attractive Mil-Spec hard anodized finish, this eye-catching and spike-tough writing instrument writes effortlessly, but can provide a tactical advantage in case of emergency. It features a tumble-polished stainless steel tip, pocket clip, and a window-breaker tailcap—just in case. Made in the U.S., it comes with an imported Schmidt® easyFLOW ink cartridge but is fully adjustable to accept most ink cartridges between 3.875″ and 4.25″ long.

I’ve always been a sucker for small, well made products.

This flashlight is a prime example. The [rated] 80 lumen output is the same as a 3-cell MagLight, but this seems brighter. One reason may be the beam collimation, which is better than any flashlight I have seen.

The beam color is pure white, with no yellow overtones such as one gets with an incandescent bulb (OK, that’s not a surprise for a LED). The low setting is more than enough for walking at night, even on irregular ground. The high setting will amaze you. And it’s SO small!

The best I’ve seen. Ever.

This is the flashlight for everyone. very small yet extremely powerful. It does not have all the irritating high, med, low, and flashing beams some others have. Its blessed with an extremely powerful high beam and the perfectly bright low beam. It defaults to high so you don’t have to cycle thru. Expensive but worth it.

This is the greatest flashlight I’ve ever owned, along with the most expensive.

When I received it, the very first thing that struck me was how little it is. I was slightly disappointed at its size, simply because for some reason I imagined it to be slightly larger. It is so modest that whenever you hold it, you cant even see it from the back of your hand. And yet, the light is so bright that when I accidentally flashed in my own eyes, I kept seeing blind spots and had to wait 3-5 mins until I got my full vision back. To say its bright is an understatement.

I took it with me on a cabin trip last weekend, and the strength of the light actually impressed me. It can fully illuminate whichever direction its pointed into, which was excellent to have while walking my dog in pure darkness.

At first, I thought the lower light setting was pretty useless, until I started utilizing the flashlight inside the car exactly where the brightest setting is so bright that it will reflect actually tough off of ANY map or paper to the point where it’s unreadable. Now I absolutely appreciate the lower light setting.

Feels excellent in your hands and I’ve instantly become a lifetime buyer of SureFire flashlights.
