Yeah, beam is almost exactly like the L1 Cree. Great spot and throw, not all spill like the L4. Decent amount of side spill.

Tell me about it. The rubber clicky on my E1b was starting to tear and I wasn’t about to plunk down $35 for an new tail cap. I could care less how it looks, but i was worried about loosing watertight seal. Lucky I have an E1e that I don’t use much and was able to switch the rubbers (hehe) out.
Any idea if your new cap is watertight?

Have you tried a Z48 tailcap? It’s got a smaller profile, and "only" costs a few dollars more than that G2.

I love Surefire, but damn, they are expensive……
